Is your school recognized in Turkey?
The official body in Turkey which recognizes foreign institutions of higher education is the Council of Higher Education (Yüksek Öğretim Kurulu - YÖK -www.yok.gov.tr/en). In general, YÖK recognizes American institutions of higher education provided they are regionally accredited. However, though rarely, a regionally accredited might have lost its status as a "recognized" school in the case of a disagreement with the Council.
